If you are under 24, Austria asks you to show €722.58 a month, so €8,671 for one year. From 24 it is €1,308.39 a month, so €15,701 for one year.
If your rent is above €386.43 a month, you need to show more to cover the difference.
The money has to be in an account you can use from Austria and you must be able to show where it comes from, for example your parents' employment certificates. It is your own money for living costs, not a fee.
