Your documents and the visa
Apostille
Austria accepts apostilles from Ukraine. Your official documents, such as your birth certificate, need an apostille from Ministry of Justice before you submit them.
Visa D required
Citizens of Ukraine apply at the Austrian embassy in Kyiv before travelling to Austria.
Processing time
Usually 4 to 8 weeks for applicants from Ukraine; the legal maximum is 90 days. Waiting for an embassy appointment: ~2 weeks.

Обробка австрійської студентської візи зазвичай займає від 6 до 12 тижнів з дати подачі заяви в посольстві. Рекомендується подавати заяву щонайменше за 3 місяці до початку навчання.
Якщо вам менше 24 років, потрібно підтвердити 722,58 євро на місяць (8 671 євро на рік). Якщо вам 24 роки або більше, 1 308,39 євро на місяць (15 701 євро на рік).
Так, студенти бакалаврату та магістратури можуть працювати до 20 годин на тиждень. Потрібно отримати дозвіл на роботу від служби зайнятості (AMS).
Чинний закордонний паспорт, лист про зарахування з університету, фінансове підтвердження, медичне страхування, довідка про несудимість, свідоцтво про народження, фотографії на паспорт та заповнена анкета.
Ви можете подати апеляцію протягом 4 тижнів після відмови до Федерального адміністративного суду (BVwG). Уважно перегляньте причини відмови та усуньте недоліки перед повторною подачею.
