If you are under 24, Austria asks you to show €722.58 a month, so €8,671 for one year. From 24 it is €1,308.39 a month, so €15,701 for one year.

It depends on your country and Austria is strict about it. An apostille only works if your country joined the Hague Apostille Convention and Austria did not object to that.

€218 for the residence permit; since January 2026 that one fee also covers the card. If your country needs a Visa D to travel, that is €195 and some embassies waive it for students.

For winter semester 2026/27, most non-EU students at public universities pay €726.72 a semester, plus €26.20 for the student union (ÖH). That is €752.92 a semester in total.

No. Nobody can guarantee a residence permit. Only the Austrian authorities decide and nobody can buy that decision.

Only if you are from a country whose citizens can enter Austria without a visa. Then you can apply at the immigration office here, which is the MA 35 in Vienna.
